Shop (shoes)
A large shoe shop in a shopping mall in Reading. The shoes being tough urban street style a raw industrial approach was taken to the design and materials chosen. The shop was striped back to its concrete core with spaces created by the addition of floating walls and ceilings. A concrete paving floor flowed into a timber floor layed to a pitch on the trial section to bring awareness to the feet.
Cortell Steel lined the entrance wall and is cut away to reveal a glass accessories counter.
